Christian Home Educators of Wisconsin believes in:
Biblical Truth
- Children are formed by God (Jeremiah 1:5, Psalm 139:13)
- Children are important to God (Matthew 18:10)
- Children are stewarded to parents (Psalm 127:3)
- Parents have the responsibility to train their children (Proverbs 22:6, Deuteronomy 11:19)
- Parents will give an account to God for how they exercise their stewardship (Luke 12:48, Romans 14:12)
Constitutional Rights
- “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof” (First Amendment)
- The Supreme Court in 1972 unanimously recognized parents’ right to direct the religious upbringing of their children, including education. (Yoder v. Wisconsin)
